Thanks for stopping by my blog, hope you all have a great weekend. Just finished up another week of icad I cant believe how fast the time goes. There’s a lot I want to get done though but I can work on that in the weekend when the temperatures drop. Tammy has put out wonderful lists of prompts and last year (2020) I decided I needed a Mixed Media Prompt option. Today is going to be a hot day in the Netherlands… the weather forecast predicts over 30 degrees Celsius! At the moment it looks a bit cloudy but the temperatures are already rising so I don’t think I will be in my atelier much today. So to participate in ICAD all you need to do is create daily art on index cards (in one of the three standard size’s (3 x 5, 4 x 6 or 5 x 7) or you can do the fun alteration and work on rolodex cards instead. Now I do of course have my Box of Longing – filled with index cards ‘my way’ – that I could consummate with some more cards but I decided to stick to the ICAD prompts and leave the Box of Longing alone….ĭaisy Yellow provides a week theme with 7 prompts (one for each day) and started last Monday. Creating these cards clear my head while I still stay creative – an excellent way to keep the mojo flowing! I looked up my stack of Index Cards and decided to play along with ICAD (“Index Card A Day”) – this annual event is facilitated by Daisy Yellow and although I might not create 61 cards in total, I like to have the stack of index cards on my table for a quick ‘in between’ scribble when I am not working on art journal pages or feel stuck.
